The nation is at a critical moment: in the aftermath of a historic election, anticipating the potential for greater support for progressive goals in Congress than at any time in the past 40 years, yet at the same time facing a worsening foreclosure crisis, a chronic shortage of decent affordable housing, financial market meltdown, and looming recession.
Now is the time when we need to speak out on these critical issues, and Shelterforce and the National Housing Institute are doing just that.
